"There's a wolf over there!" Klara pointed excitedly at the passenger side window at the large grey wolf she had spotted at the edge of the trees.
She had not seen another wolf in that form for so long that she found it exhilarating, but she didn't expect Sawyer to pull the car over when he saw the wolf she was referring to.
He hurriedly unbuckled the seat belt and threw open the door without bothering to close it beside him as he ran over to the wolf.
"He's one of ours…" Elizabeth explained calmly as Klara stared in surprise and tried to figure out what was going on. "That's his sister’s mate, so…he is actually one of ours, not just one of this pack. I don’t know why Sawyer decided to jump out like that so I can’t answer that for you, but I guess we’ll find out soon enough.”
