I knew that she still wasn’t truly ready to be separated from Hope. And truth be told, the closer I was to our little wolf, the more content I personally felt.
The hotel suite door opened, and I stepped aside, watching her expression carefully, knowing that I was still playing with fire here. She wanted to be here, I knew that, but I also knew her hesitation. And after everything, I knew not to press on her with more than she could handle.
The room, however, was decorated to fit the aura of a beautiful date.
