My arm was burning. I had walked through the portal and it closed as soon as I was on the other side. My body was numb from the hit against the wall and I couldn't help but limp as I walked through the hallways.
I didn't know where my friends were and I guessed the other gods were probably too busy coming up with a plan B in case Aileen's and my mission failed, which I guessed it had.
So I walked through the hallways, looking inside each room where I thought my friends could be, hoping I would find them before I collapsed. My head was beginning to spin and it was getting harder to walk straight, more so considering that my body felt as though it weighed a hundred kilograms more.
