I keep glancing at the wall clock.
It's been twenty minutes since Bella left and she's not back yet. That is no cause for alarm since I'm sure she's chatting with Jade and Kara, but I can't shake off the uneasiness that's gnawing at me.
I'm itching to go downstairs and get her. I'm not okay with her being away from me when Tatiana is acting all cuckoo.
I text her, then I try to distract myself by paying attention to the TV. The governor is still answering questions and scowling at the interviewer. My mind is not on him at all, though. I'm still fuming over everything Tatiana. The thought of her following me around absolutely pisses me off, but her blackmailing my girlfriend and threatening Christian makes me positively livid.
I check my phone, and a sense of alarm overwhelms me
