"Noah..." I gasped while his eyes pierced me with a dark intent. What was he doing here, lurking in the dark? Somehow, my stomach churned, and the feeling of something terrible about to happen sank into every pore of my skin. Even if something felt off, I would not go down without a fight... I will push back if needed.
The first step is not to show fear. "What are you doing here?" I asked, and he sighed.
"My Ellie... I had to see you..." He said, coming close to me. My heart pounded, and my stomach revolted. I didn't want him anywhere near my personal space.
