Rae Victoria places her order and waits patiently as I pack it up. "So, are you ready to start your first day as a teacher, Rae?" she asks me. "Yes. I am excited. I can't wait to decorate my classroom tomorrow, and to meet all of my students the following day." I tell her. "I remember decorating my first classroom. It's such a wholesome feeling, so I completely understand you. I bet your mom will be sad to lose your help around here," she says, looking around. "Mom has a lot of help aound here. I will still help her on the weekends, during the holidays and school vacations," I say. "She is so lucky to have such a good daughter," I get a sinking feeling with the way her voice changed. "Will this be all?" I ask her. "Lincoln is really sorry, Rae. He came over last night,
