Nathan places his hand on my thigh and I remove it with a smile. Honestly I just want to slap him but I have something to do with him. I need to help Maddox in this war. Because this is not right. Planning to s*******r a race that had done no harm to our kind really is not right.
"Is there anything else you need?" He asks me again and I shake my head looking at the entire Shatter Me series that he bought me as a gift.
"Nothing, really" I say and debate if I should keep these or throw them away because I also asked Maddox to buy me these.
Oh wait. Accepting these graduation presents doesn't make things worse, does it? I can just ask Maddox to gift me Bridgerton book series. I just saw the first season on Netflix and it is bomb.
