Zelda's POV
I sigh as I tie my hair up in a bun. I am giving all my family, my silent treatment. If they did not want to talk to me before promising someone else that they would give my hand to them.. then I don't see a point in me talking to them after getting to know that too.
My phone rings and I glance at the clock. It is 9:30 in the morning. It must be Nathan calling to check if I am ready or not.
But I smile wide when I see Maddox's name on the screen. I instantly hit the answer button and just as I hear his voice, I feel sane already.
"What happened? I'm sorry I did not even remember I had a phone. I was with Edgar'' he says and he sounds a little worried too.
