Blue Moon Pack

Madison's POV

It's not easy to leave the pack behind but I know that this is what Moon Goddess must have planned for me. Also, this is what Ava wants me to do so yeah, I am doing something I don't want to.

Dylan has said it will take three hours to reach the Blue Moon Pack territory which can happen anytime as we have been traveling for nearly three hours by now. I can feel Ariel getting anxious the more closer we get to the pack territory. Maybe because it's her first time entering her old pack's territory and the fear of facing her big brother again.

Soon I feel a shift inside me just as we enter a gated community which can only mean we have finally entered the Blue Moon Pack's territory. I look at the surrounding which is fully covered in thick forest hiding the territory from any unknown persons.

"I like the setup." Ava says through the mind link making me roll my eyes.

"I like it too but I am not going to admit it because then the ego of the males of this pack will get too high." I reply making her snicker.

"We are here." I hear Ariel say so I look to my left side to see that the car has stopped in front of a luxurious mansion or should I say castle.

I get out of the car before opening Ariel's side of the door making her pout while she mutters under his breath saying 'I am not a child'. All the time Dylan looks at us with amusement but I show him the middle finger making his eyes widen.

I go to take our luggage but Dylan stops me saying he will do that. Although I want to oppose but decided against it because I know Ariel won't like it. So, I release a big sigh while nodding my head.

Three of us walk inside the house and I feel like I have entered a completely different world because I have never seen such luxurious things before. Blue Moon Pack is also wealthy but we're not taught to waste money on things that are not needed. Instead, we try to help the packs who suffer from poverty.

"Madiiiiii!" A loud squeal can be heard before Amanda rushes towards me making me smile.

I open my arms and instantly she leaps into it making me grumble under my breath. Thank Goddess, I go to gym daily and do heavy workout.

"I missed you so much." Amanda says pulling away from the hug.

"I missed you too." I reply pinching her on the cheek.

"It seems you haven't missed your big brother." Dylan remarks with a fake pout making Amanda roll her eyes at him.

"What's there to miss about your annoying self?" Amanda remarks while I bite my lips from laughing loudly.

"Welcome to the Blue Moon Pack." Merrick says with a gentle smile.

Suddenly, the smell of something burning hit my nose and before I know it I am running towards the direction which leads me to the kitchen, where I find an old lady trying to get away from a woman older than me who is holding a burning iron on the old lady's left palm. I let out a loud growl in anger making them both look at me. But surprisingly the woman doesn't let the old lady go.

"What the f**k do you think you are doing?" I ask walking towards them before snatching iron rode from the woman who scowls at me.

"Who are you to question me?" The woman asks back sassily and lets me tell one thing that I hate the most is when someone replies to my question by asking back a dumb question of themselves.

"It's none of your concern as to who I am. You should concern about yourself because you will definitely not like what I am planning to do with you." I reply glaring at her.

She goes on to say something but I hold my hand which thankfully stops her from opening her damn mouth. I look at the old lady who is crying silently holding her hand which is burnt pretty badly making both Ava and I want to kill the woman. But we compose ourselves and take a hold of her hand before opening the sink to let the cold water make the burning cool down a little.

"What's happening in here?" Merrick asks walking inside Amanda following behind him.

Upon seeing the old lady's situation, Amanda rushes towards us before assisting the wound. I let her do the work because she knows this stuff better than me as she used to help Luna Pearl in the clinic.

"This b***h came here like she owns this place." The woman whose name I still don't know replies looking at Merrick.

"Why don't you tell him what you were doing before I came here?" I ask folding my hands in front of my chest.

"I was just teaching her lesson for wasting food." The woman answers making me laugh while others look at me like I have lost my mind.

"You are saying that you were teaching the old lady a lesson by burning hand with an iron rod to teach her a lesson. Wow, bravo!" I clap my hands while shaking my head at her lame reason.

"Jessica, may I know who give you the right to do something so brutal to an old person?" Merrick asks dangerously getting on his Beta mood.

"Babe, I am-" I don't let her finish because I wrap my hand around her throat tightly.

"Don't you dare to call my best friend's mate babe. Got it?" I say making her eyes widen before she weakly nods her head.

"So, you are cheating on my best friend?" I ask Merrick daring him to say the false.

"Madison, please calm down and let me clear something. Jessica is no one to me but she has an obsession with me for many years that she thinks I also have feelings for her. But believe me that's not true at all. If you don't believe me you can ask Amanda because she knows everything." Merrick replies and I can feel that he is not lying. But still, I look at my best friend who nods her head in response.

"Fine but don't let me see her near you or I won't hesitate to snap both of your neck." I let out.

It's the next day and I am out in the backyard along with Amanda who is introducing me to other shewolves. Everyone is quite shock learning about my position in the Red Crescent Pack as the head warrior because they think that women are only good for household work.

Thankfully, I haven't encountered Alpha Alessandro yet as he and the gamma of the pack has gone out of town for some important work. But it doesn't mean that I am not dreading to meet him. I want to accept his rejection but Ava is not letting me do that.

Suddenly, some pups run towards us and start pleading for me to play with them. Someone who is not in their right sense will say no to these cuties so I bid goodbye to the group of shewolves and walk away with the pups who are looking super happy to be with me.

"You are so pretty." One of the girls remarks while the other nod their heads.

"Thank you for your compliment. You all are pretty too." I reply making all of them squeal loudly.

"Did you hear, Tom? Madison thinks I am pretty." Tina, an adorable chubby girl says looking at whom I get to know as her twin brother.

"I know sissy. I already told you that you are more pretty than Jessica." Tom answers pinching his sister's cheek who giggle loudly.

"But many don't think of us as pretty or handsome." A boy named Parker remarks looking sad.

"Who are you talking about?" I ask.

"Them." He replies while pointing ttowarda group of boys who looks like they are warriors of this pack.

"Are you talking about someone specific out of them?" I ask in which his face turns red.

"He is talking about Alexander in short Alex. He has a crush on that dude for a quite long time but doesn't have the guts to talk to him." Nora remarks making Parker blush harder.

"It's okay to have a crush on someone but letting them make you believe less in yourself is not right. Also, you will have a mate after turning 18 so try not to indulge in someone who doesn't make you feel better." I tell Parker who nods his head.

"You are right, my mom says the same thing. But something about him keeps calling out to me." Poor fella looks so unsure of himself.

"It's alright, everything will be solved on duo time," I tell him.

I think I am so engrossed in playing with the pups that I don't even feel the new presence within us. However, a simple word has me stop playing and turn my head towards the voice or should I say the person who calls me his 'mate'.
