“Did you not feel any pain or stomach cramps? Eleanor said you were stressed so you might feel those kinds of things.”
“I told you, I’m fine. I just want to sleep. I feel tired and sleepy.”
“Oh okay. Are you sure you don’t want us to go back to the city? We need to find a good Ob-gyn for you to-“
“It’s fine, Red. I like it here and, besides, we have Eleanor here. She knows what to do with me. If you want, you can hire an Ob-gyn, but I don’t want to go back to the city. I like it here. It’s stress free.”
