They hugged each other for a while, before Ella decided to speak up and let him know what she’s worried about.
“I’ve told you about what I promised my parents, do you remember?”
“Yes, I remember. What about it?”
“It’s just… I’m worried because of the baby. Raising a baby will cost money. Not to mention, it would need to be taken care of most of the time. How could I save money to keep my promises? And how could I work to earn money if I have a baby to take care of?” Damn. She hasn’t actually thought of the second part until that moment. It made her even more anxious.
“What do I do?” She helplessly asked him, beginning to cry again.
Dave was visibly rattled by all her crying. He knew she’s a tough girl and for her to be crying like this, he understands how serious this is for her.
