Rose POV
We had to pick-up Baron at home after the party. We had decided to leave him as we didn't want to give more reasons for Cheryll to be annoyed at me. Baron was quite sad when we left him, but got excited when we got him settled at the back seat. It was sweet of Jace as he still Baron and his needs.
After being on the road for about half an hour, Jace would still not talk to me. He would tease me with a smile or hum a tune but never answer me when I asked him where we were going.
Finally, after telling him he wouldn’t get a kiss for the rest of the day, I got a different reaction from him. He stopped from his teasing mood and frowned.
