Rose POV
So far, it had been fun except for the fact that Dexter had been keeping to himself most of the time. Darren had been keeping everyone on their toes, leading us on where to go and what to do next. He was great with Baron, who was also having a good time with the new scenery and the welcoming attention he was getting.
Jace had been nothing but perfect. He barely left my side. While I felt shy showing affection, Jace had been all showy. He held my hand most of the time and kissed me now and then - on my forehead, cheek, nose, and hands. He had kissed me on the lips once, but I told him off afterward. I didn’t want his family to feel awkward.
Shopping had been quite an ordeal. Jace shopped for everyone, even Dexter. He bought us matching shirts so we could watch basketball match
