Chapter Thirty Two

Kat got in and looked very surprised to see me there..

"Umhh... babe you're here?" She said and then looked at her daughter,

"Would you put clothes on Gail..."

I smiled at Gail, "I think I kinda told her to go get dressed too.."

Gail rolled her eyes, "okay... I see now why you guys are in a relationship...." then she turned around, "I gotta go call my son anyways, so bye love birds...."

I turned to Kat and said sarcastically, "I've known her for an hour and already, I know she has a son..."

Kat sighed and took off her jacket and then put her bag on the counter... "Wanna go to the bedroom and talk..."

"We both know what happens when we are in the bedroom... it's been over three months... so I can't go there with you.. right now I just want to know why you hid the fact that you have a 27 year old daughter.. like didn't it occur to you that we might meet... or I might find out down the line?"

"Look... I.. it's complicated..." She stuttered Pissing me off... I took in one deep breath trying to calm me down.

"Katherine don't tell me about complicated... Coz the f**k we are in right now is complicated already... just tell me what the f**k is going on.. please..."

I saw tears stream down her cheeks, it fucken broke me, literally because I was crazily in love with this woman and she seemed to be battling with a demon I was trying to get out...

I sighed and walked closer to her. I wiped away the tears, "Baby please... please just tell me why... why didn't you tell me about Gail...?"

She sniffed and then wiped her tears, "Umhh.... so, after the whole ordeal of me cheating on Simone... She used that against me in court for divorce... And Gail was about thirteen then... She... Umhh...."

I could see how hard it was for her to just talk about this. It was like she was opening up old wounds.

She composed herself, "She.... She fought for Gail's custody and won... then she took my daughter from me. I don't know what lies she told her, but Gail never wanted anything to do with me from when she was 15.. She said I hurt her mother so she wants nothing to do with me.."

I looked at her a bit confused, "wait... so Simone told your daughter that you hurt her and all that crap?"

I should have known.. Simone was a real selfish b***h and I felt like I needed to tell her that personally. And I should have known that this was her work.

She nodded, "yeah something like that.. since then I have been getting calls from Gail, and the gap grew in between us. Until she stopped calling at all..."

"But she called the other day at home... And baby she is still your daughter..."

"She said she wasn't my daughter anymore because a mother wouldn't do that to separate their family.... You don't understand Thandy... She..."

"So you didn't stand up to Simone? You just allowed her to take your daughter like that...?"

She shook her head, "I begged Simone a thousand times to stop what she was doing.. but one thing I wasn't going to do was to pull Gail and tell her what Simone did. I wasn't going to stoop to my ex wife's level and confuse my daughter..."

I furrowed my brows, "So you had her think that you are the bad guy? Oh God baby when are you ever going to stand up against your crazy ex wife? When are you going to...."

I was cut off by the main door and the devil herself showed up. I groaned, "you have got to be f*****g with me...!"

"Oh...." the b***h said as soon as she approached us, "hey guys..."

My girlfriend was done wiping her tears, she sighed seeming a bit tired, "what are you doing here Simone?"

Simone flashed us with that tiring fake smile of hers, "that's not a way to greet your ex wife now is it...?"She said that approaching Kat and I quickly stood in front of Kat stopping her from reaching over her.

The woman ached her brows at me, " can I help you?"

I shrugged, "Yes.... leave..."

"What?" She asked sounding shocked.

I sighed, "I'm not going to repeat myself, you heard me the first time... now please... move it!"

"You will stand there and let this child disrespect me again Katherine?"

I scoffed, "talk about a disrespect.... when you budge in at someone's house and expect to be treated like a queen... honestly what on earth are you doing here?"

"I'm here to see my daughter and that has nothing to do with you?"

"'My daughter?' How old is she? Six? Simone you are supposed to be this smartest lawyer but you are this stupid bitter adult... don't you have a house? If you wanted to see your 'daughter' that much you could have arranged to meet with her somewhere... she's not a baby.. she's 27..."

"Katherine...."

Kat sighed behind me, "I don't want to be a part of this... so please keep me out.. And Thandy is telling the truth.. if you wanted to see Gail, you could have made a call and meet her somewhere. Not here..."

"Since when don't I have to come here now Katty?" She asked Pissing me off, I sighed, "Simone... I believe Kat is tired of you... so please do yourself a favor and leave... just do us that favor please...."

"Please tell this child to stop... this isn't about her.. I'm here to see our daughter..."

"'our' now she's 'our' daughter... wow, Simone stop it.. stop this bullshit.. you turned Gail against her mother in the past and now suddenly she is 'our daughter'... you are so manipulative..."

"Thandy I'll say your name when I talk to you... thank you..." She said and I sighed,

"What's funny is that they both can't see what you are.. but I can.. And you have been back in Kat's life ever since you saw me in the picture and you have been trying by all means to separate us... now you are even using your daughter that you have been hiding all this time..."

"Gail is old enough to make her own decisions... if she doesn't want to see her mom I will not force her..."

I rolled my eyes, "you poisoned Gail from her mother.. I wonder what she'd say if she'd hear that you are the one who cheated and then covered your moves with Kat's and then on top of that you took her away from her mother.... you are in deep s**t once the truth comes out..."

Simone stared at Kat in awe, "you told this kid what happened? Why Katherine.. God when will you grow up...?"

"Simone just stop please...this 'kid' happens to be my girlfriend.."

I budged in, "and the moment you start taking me as Katherine's girlfriend and not a kid... is the day you'll know the true meaning of honesty in a relationship... but then how will you know that if you get married to someone.. f**k their friends for two years and then blame them for a divorce and take their child away... God, you are a heartless daughter of a...."

"Stop it! I understand that you and Katherine are a thing.. but that doesn't give you any right to disrespect my mom like that..." Gail said appearing and now fully dressed. I rolled my eyes again.

I really should have known that Simone was behind all this s**t again. Like when was a person ever going to be free of this woman...

I turned to Kat and she was looking away from all this. I sighed in defeat, I was here standing up for her but she was standing there pretending like nothing was happening..

I shook my head looking at her, "well.. umh... I see when I'm not wanted really... so I'm going to waltz out of here... but before I do that, Gail... if I was you, I'd ask myself why Simone spoke so ill of my mother.. I mean as your mother, isn't she supposed to be making sure that you have both your moms present in your life..."

And like that I got out..

I walks out of the garage door but suddenly heard someone call for my name, "Thandy..."

"Yes..." I said turning to see Gail approaching me, "where are you going?"

I shrugged, "home.. or was I supposed to stay here?"

"Look... I didn't mean to just be like that in there... I only didn't like the way you stalked to my mom.."

I sighed, I wasn't ready for this out here..."Look I know you love your mom, but I will not let her disrespect me and let alone your biological mother..."

She shook her head stubbornly, "mom would never do that.. Katherine put her through a lot and she still respects her.."

I scoffed, "respects her? Which part...?"

"After Katherine cheated on her and then the divorce.. mom still talked to her and she forgave her..."

I shook my head, "yet she kept you away from your mom even after she forgave her.. I thought you was very smart... but right at this moment you sound so stupid..."

"Don't.. you don't know who I am...."

"But I know Simone... She doesn't want to see Kat happy.. Since a year ago she's been putting her business here and annoying us. Trying by all means to separate us.. She even called you to come.. your mom hasn't seen you in over six years and suddenly on our anniversary you show up... nice one Gail... nice one.. And I wouldn't be surprised if you have to seduce me and let Kat see it..."

She looked away.

I shook my head a bit, "God.. Simone needs help..She can't help it when she sees Kat happy.. She just wants my poor girlfriend depressed...I'm sorry to say this, but she's a lying _ conniving _... oh and a manipulative bit......"

"That's enough Thandy... please stop this..." my girlfriend said approaching from inside the house.

"Kat..."

"No.. that's enough...I think youShould leave now..."

I ached my brows at her and she shook her head, "It's really enough now.. please understand.."

Go I swear I thought I was going to suffocate there and die.. was she really chasing me out. I shook my head in disbelief, "you want me to leave Kat? Fine. I wouldn't want to disturb family time"

Just like that I left...

I never got any phone call from Kat since last day...

I waited at the airport with Susan. Not knowing if Kat will arrive or not. I kept on looking at the entrance and my heart hoping to see he now.. I felt a bit sick..."

Our plane was called...

Susan looked at me. "She isn't coming babe..."

I shook head, "yah.. She isn't.."

I got up we both left.. not knowing where Kat and I stood..
