Chapter Twenty Four

"Get out of my way?" My father said to Kat but she stood her ground,

"So you can beat her up again Mr Phakathi? I mean that is just out of this world.. Did you see what you did to her? Did you see what you did to your 16 year old daughter out there?"

"Where's my daughter?" Maa Sophia immediately asked at the mention of Sindy and I scoffed,

"Your daughter? Maa you watched dad hit me the other night and then you let him beat my sister over and over again yesterday then you will stand here and ask where is your daughter where's you failed to protect her?"

Kat gave me a look and then turned to my mom, "Sindy is okay... well she isn't, she's scared both physically and emotionally.... they will both stay with me until you manage to fix this without having to be violent..."

My father groaned, "Katherine this is between me and my daughters...And you are not helping by taking them away."

My girlfriend folded her arms, "I am helping you sir, what you are doing is not okay and you know it. You are a cop for God's sake and you beat your children because they are in love with women? Is that breaking any law now?"

It went quiet I assure you my parents were both thinking about this very carefully but since my dad was stubborn he said, "this is my house.. what I say goes as long as they stay under this roof..."

I shook my head looking at Maa Sophia, "I'll go get Cindy's clothes.. you can let him kill me if you want..."

Then I went to my little sister's bedroom to take some of her clothes... as I left I heard them talk. My father specifically saying,

"Katherine I don't know whether to call you dumb or stupid... My daughter doesn't love you, at least not in the way you are hoping she does..."

"You don't know what you are talking about Mr Phakathi..." I heard my girlfriend respond.

"Oh I know exactly trust me. I might not be as smart as you, a Doctor I mean.. but I know that not long ago my daughter lost her mother and it killed her inside, after the funeral she got into her car and drove, which lead to the collision between you two, then you saved her life there... now tell me if I'm wrong, you are old and caring, you were there you showed her what she's been missing from her mother.. love.... and she had no other choice but to love you too..."

Katherine kept quiet..

I was so pissed that my dad would think that. I quickly put my sister's shoes in her bag and then said I'll buy other if needed be... I couldn't stand my father brainwashing my girlfriend like that...

"You know I'm right... this isn't what you think it is..." my father said when I walk back in the sitting room, I looked at Kat and I saw a look I didn't like at all. I turned to my parents,

"The car was supposed to Come fetch the three of you on Friday at 6am.. but since I'm taking Sindy with me you guys can ride together.. everything is organised..you just need to be ready. We will reach New York first and you guys will arrive whenever... I'll see you in New York if you decide to come to your disgraced daughter's graduation...."

I looked at Kat, "babe... let's go..."

She nodded and turned to my parents, "I'll make sure they are okay.... if I were you, both of you, I'd sit down with them and hear them out because if you keep on acting like this, you might lose both your daughters...."

We reached the car and started driving. I was pissed at my dad for what he said and what worried me more was Katherine being awfully quiet. Way too quiet that my little sister even realized and commented,

"You guys are quiet.. what happened back there?"

I kept quiet. Kat sighed and looked at my sister on the rearview mirror, "No one was bitten thank God.. so yah it's okay..."

"What did my dad say....?" My sister asked and my girlfriend looked at me as if saying she isn't up for this. I turned to my sister, "he said a lot.. but it's okay, we are going to New York tomorrow...."

Her eyes lit up, "you are kidding right? What happened to leaving on Friday?"

I smiled, "I just thought about taking you and Kat somewhere.. Ohh Maudy too if she isn't too busy."

"Oh God.. I can't wait. I heard Nandi is crazy jealous that I'm going to The United States... but she's happy for me and you.. She actually looks up to you so much sis...."

I kinda zoned out from what my little sister was saying and looked at my girlfriend, she wasn't okay, she looked torn and confused. I swear what my dad said got to her.

I held her hand and she was a little startled at first but relaxed when she saw it was me. She removed her hand from mine though and held the steering wheel with both hands.. something she hardly does when she is with me in the car..

I sighed and looked at my sister. She saw that. She mouthed an "I'm sorry..."

I shrugged...Like it didn't bother me..even though it did.

I watched as we came into a stop and waited for the gate to open. She drove inside and parked.. I got out and opened the door for my sister.. I went to Kat's side when she didn't come out..

"Baby?"

She shook her head and looked in her bag, she handed me the keys, "you guys go in.. I'll follow..."

"Are you okay Kat?"

She nodded, "yea... I just need to make sure my staff is organised before tomorrow..."

I nodded... "see you inside then..."

She didn't respond. That broke my heart but I didn't want to worry my sister so I just took her hand and lead her inside..

"You hungry?"

My sister nodded and I went to the kitchen.. I asked her to join in. I made her biscuits and a drink while I cooked..

An hour later when I was dishing up for my sister she asked, "Where's Katherine?"

I shrugged even though a little part of me knew she was dealing with What dad said, "I don't know.. She said she was getting staff ready for tomorrow baby..."

She nodded and dug in on her food, "I think she's pretty cool..."

"She's pretty cool alright..."

"No sis' Thandy I mean she is amazing... she's a great girlfriend and she is just the best... She loves you..."

I looked at my sister and found her looking very serious, I smiled, "you know what kiddo.... I love her more each and everyday. She is like a guardian Angel to me. When I was nineteen I got my heart broken in the worst possible way... I never thought I could love again.. until I got into a crash and my eyes landed on Kat.. it took me awhile to admit that I am in love with her coz it was hard to just give my trust out... but I did... And I'm so glad it's to her... I really really love her..."

She laughed, "Well... I wish to find someone who will love me like you two are... I mean it's obvious that you guys don't mind your ages..."

I nodded and got up to pour myself something to drink since I couldn't just fake a smile about the age thing. I mean my girlfriend wasn't here with us at this moment because of the age thing..

"Well the age isn't easy.. I mean people out here talk but I just don't let it get to us.. I love Kat no matter who says what.. I love her..."

I then came to sit back down, and my sister smiled at me, "I'm glad you do.. She is a keeper...."

"Oh hey... you guys made yourselves at home.. nice..." Kat said walking in. I went to her and gave her a hug, I looked at her and she gave me half a smile.

I pulled away and looked at my sister, "wanna check out the pool at the back.. it's pretty cool..."

My sister shook her head and I gave her thee look.

She lifted her hands up in surrender, "alright... I wanna see it..."

I smiled, "It's down the corridor.. on your right..."

She rolled her eyes and left. I turned to Kat, "what's wrong?"

"Nothing...."

"Really Kat? You have been avoiding me since home and now you are faking smiles on me... don't you think I know you better than that?"

She shrugged, "like I said.. it's nothing..."

"Come on Kat what is...."

"Nothing....." She yelled cutting me off, "I said nothing.. what part of that don't you understand Thandy...?"

I looked at her shocked as I felt like my heart was being ripped off my chest. I nodded, "okay... I get you.. I'm sorry..."

She just looked at me same expression. I turned around quickly, "I'll go pack..."

I went up stairs. And took my bag. I started putting in the staff that I came with from New York and the ones I came with from home.. made sure that the tickets were okay and in a place e I won't forget.

I then texted Maud,

ME: "WE ARE LEAVING TOMORROW, HOW DO YOU FEEL i***t?"

She immediately responded,

ASSY: "AWESOME... I AM GOING TO SEE CHLOE..."

ME: "YOU MEAN f**k HER..."

ASSY: "NO SEE HER ASS.... ???

I laughed at her stupid ass and another text came in...

ASSY: "HOW IS CINDY? HOW DOES SHE LOOK?"

ME: "SHE IS OKAY.... YOU WILL SEE HER TOMORROW OKAY..."

ASSY: I WILL SEE YOU TOO... I LOVE YOU...

ME: YEAH YEAH I LOVE ME TOO...??

I laughed at my response and put my phone in my pocket. When I found that everything is okay I went downstairs remembering that I have dirty dishes there...

When I reached the kitchen Kat was there and they were laughing with my little sister.

"Oh hey.... look who's here..." My sister said and Kat looked at me and smiled a bit, I did too and went past her to the sink... usually we wash dishes with a dishwasher. But today I took them to the sink and washed them..

I felt a body behind me and then hands held me, "there's a dishwasher for that..."

I shook my head, "it's good.. I'm good doing this... I prefer it..."

She kissed my neck and let go, "you would make a good wife..."

I heard my sister laugh at that and then they started talking again.

I was a bit happy for my sister. She was laughing again.. I turned to them and found Kat holding Cindy's chin and looking at her face, she smiled, "you and your sister look like your dad....."

"Tochè" my sister said and they laughed..

I finished dishes and realized it was late.. I went to the guest room and fixed my sister the bed. She walked in, "can you sleep with me... please..."

I furrowed my brows at her, "are you kidding me? What are you? Six?"

She shook her head... of f**k, she was serious...

I sighed and nodded.. I went to Kat's room and as soon as I walked in she said, "I don't think your sister will be able to sleep alone... so..."

I cut her off, "yah... I'll leave you alone..."

She sighed, "Thandy it's not like...."

I shook my head, cutting her off again, "whatever it's like... it's cool Katherine, I'll leave...I just came to get my pyjamas.. I don't think it's ideal to sleep naked with my sister..."

She nodded.. I went to her closet and took her sleeping shirt. I took off all my clothes, leaving me in my undies, then I put on the shirt on. I turned to Kat and went to sit next to her in bed.

I sighed and went to sit next to her, "now.. I don't know what fuckery is on your mind or what I did to get such treatment from you.. but just know that I love you... sleep well...."

I tried to get up but she pulled me back and looked at me. Right into my eyes as if she was searching for something in particular. She shook her head a bit, "tell me that again..."

I looked at her a bit confused...

"Please..." She begged, "say it again...."

I held her face and looked at her too, "I love you Katherine Omarley... with everything in me..."

"Thank you..." She said and then I got up and went to the guest room. My sister was already in bed. I got in and laid down.

We were both on our back facing the ceiling. She sighed, "do you think they will accept us?"

I shrugged, "I don't know really... but I don't care either... as long as I'm just happy....And being with Kat makes me happy.. sooooo.."

"Wish I was old enough.. I'd move out too.. I'm scared.."

I turned to her and kissed her cheek, "we will talk to them before you go back home okay... I won't take you there if I still feel you are not safe..."

"Thank you.. I love you..."

I smiled, "I love you more kid..."

She looked away and slept.. I hugged her from behind and fell asleep too...

I was woken up by hands sneak behind me. I opened my eyes and my sister was right in front of me.

My heart started moving fast. Who could this be?

"Kat..." I whispered and she sighed, "did I wake you?"

I rolled my eyes and turned over, "No I was awake at... what time is it? Waiting for my girlfriend to sneak behind me..."

"I'm sorry... I can't sleep...." She whispered and I asked, "why?"

She pulled my head closer and I felt her lips on mine. I pulled away, "Kat I was sleeping.... My breath...."

She kissed me again, "Your breath is fine.. My attitude and moods aren't fine..."

"What?" I asked in between the kiss and she pulled away, "I'm an ass...."

Then she kissed me. I sighed, "are you going to talk to me or just kiss me?"

"Both.. I don't wanna wake your sister with talking...."

I rolled my eyes in the dark. Katherine was going insane..

"Baby I'm sorry.... I have a lot of s**t going on in my mind.. And I took it out on you, you didn't do anything wrong... I'm just... I don't know, I can't explain this now coz well your sister is here.. but I'm sorry for earlier."

I kept quiet..

She sighed, "fuck... I just couldn't sleep coz I was an asshole to you.. And I just want to apologize..."

"In the dark?" I asked and I felt her nod, "it's a bit better... you won't see that I was crying..."

I moved my hand from her waist up until I held her face, "you were crying..."

"I'm surprised you didn't cry when I went off at you... God baby I am so sorry.. I feel like I ripped off my heart..."

I sighed, "Baby can we talk about this tomorrow or some other time.. you know that my sister isn't 6 right.. one more word or move she might wake up..."

"I know... I'm sorry okay, we will talk about everything tomorrow..." She said and then pulled me to another kiss. I let her for a few seconds and then pulled away, "I don't feel like having sex... My sister is still in the same bed with us.."

She whisper laughed, "alright babe... see you in the morning..."

Then she kissed me again and again and again... God, Kat had no idea how fucken horny she was making me... And right at this moment I was having a hard time stopping her. Coz I didn't want her to stop, I wanted her to keep going.. Coz it felt good and she asked for forgiveness and...

"God I swear if I hear one 'mhmm' escape your mouths again, I rather have My dad kill me..." My sister said behind me startling us...

"Fuck..." I said and Kat got up, "we are so sorry... I will leave... I love you too babe..."

And just like that she was gone...

I kept quiet... then after a few seconds I said, "look I'm..."

"Yea just save it..And go to sleep..."

"Good.. Coz I had no fucken idea what I was going to say.."

The airport was a bit busy with people arriving and others leaving like us. Kat and I haven't talked about last night, but we were okay.. totally okay.

"I'm a bit cold..." I said and Kat gave me her jacket, I could tell she really felt awful for the outburst and I was kinda enjoying it..

My sister nudged me on the shoulder, "you are enjoying this aren't you..."

I looked at me and she pointed at Kat who was a bit cold.. I smiled, "a bit..."

"You'll go to hell I tell you.." we both laughed..

Our plane was called and we finally went in, Maudy was here too.. I sat next to Kat as my sister sat with Maudy behind us....

The flight was really short since Kat kept me company and allowed me to sleep on her. God knew how much I loved this woman...

When we arrived my sister was so excited and Maudy was complaining saying she's tired. I turned to Kat,

"Baby it's still in the morning.. would you take my sister to eat in that restaurant and I'll take Maud home..."

My girlfriend nodded and took her handbag. I kissed her, "I love you..."

Maudy pulled me, "you guys should stop.. this is too much shitty love now.."

I rolled my eyes, "stop being jealous.. you are about to meet Chloe.. just use a fucken condom please..."

She laughed as we got inside a taxi...

In 20, we were approaching my apartment and Maudy seemed nervous. I laughed, "she's nervous as you ass... but you'll be okay.. you guys are cute for each other, at least no cat fish happened..."

She laughed too as I opened the door. "Ass... I'm back..."

"f**k that was the longest two weeks of my life..." Chloe yelled from her bedroom...

"I'm hungry, what's cooking...?"

"I don't know Ass.. why don't...." She was cut off when she walked in and she saw Maudy next to me.

"Woahh... dude you look more hot and more gayer in perso...." Chloe said making me laugh because Maud was acting all shy.

"So Maudy this is Chloe and Chloe this is Maud...."

They hugged each other and looked at each other.. I rolled my eyes, "okay imma go get my baby and girlfriend.. in fact I'll take them for a tour... so you guys have all the time you need... we will be back for sleep only..."

They nodded excitedly.. asses.....

I went to the door shaking my head, "you know what pack those bags... And fucken use a condom..."

The laughed and I got out...

"I'm sorry..." My sister apologized for the thousand time and I shook my head. We were on our way back to my apartment hours earlier than I intended because my stupid sister decided to drop her phone in the drains...

"Thandy take it easy on her..." My girlfriend said still laughing at her. I bet she was playing the event over and over in her head.

When my sister saw Alicia Keys and went nuts.. And her phone jumped in excitement.....

I opened the door and we all got in. I closed it a bit loud.. f**k, Maudy was probably sleeping... Imma wake the mother fuckery up...

The three of us were startled by Chloe who showed up half naked, "you guys are back?"

I nodded, "yea... why?"

"Oh God... I hope you chased them out babe.." Maudy shouted from Chloe'a bedroom, then, "...we still have to get naughty before my best friend gets here..."

She said that last part also showing up half naked.. When she saw the three of us her eyes darted to my little sister and then to me and then to Kat... And back to Sindy...

"Where's the bathroom..." My little sister said.

"Ohhhkay..." I said and turned to her, "kid this is my roommate.. Chloe and Chloe this is...."

"Where the hell is the bathroom...?" My sister screamed startling me, I looked at her and found her almost in tears looking at my best friend..

I looked Maud and she was shaking her head at her..

I looked at Maud and she was still shaking her head at my sister.

"What the f**k is going in?" I asked looking at them...

Maudy looked away..

What my sister said almost gave me a heart attack, "how could you Maud... God I was so stupid to ever think you wanted me?"

I jotted to my best friend within the speed of light and connected my fist with her jaw, "you are f*****g my sister Maud? My f*****g sister Maud?"

Chloe and Kat came running to me and they held me...

"Start f*****g talking now... are you f*****g my friend and my sister at the same time? I thought I warned your straight Ass not to f**k with Cindy.... I'm going to fucken kill you..."

Maudy sighed holding her jaw, "look... it just happened..."

"f**k you... get the f**k out of my place..." I yelled.

"Where will I go?" She asked confused..
