Wednesday arrived and it was the day that Ashley had to attend for a hearing with the committee of judges for the competition. The hearing was held to decide on whether she could keep her award or otherwise.
Seated behind in the car next to Nikolai, Ashley was looking out the window and thought about what she had discussed with Finley and his boyfriend Dave. Dave found a way to help her deal with the DNA test to prove Teddy was Nikolai’s son. But, it proved to be a difficult favour to be done with.
Nikolai was on the phone talking to his men on business matters. As usual, he spoke in his native language thinking that Ashley would not understand about the business he was running.
