It was already noon. I was sure Nikolai was already awake from his deep sleep at my apartment. I had asked Teddy to not wake him up. Even though I was still not happy of him breaking a promise he made to me but looking at him sleeping at the couch, I was a little happy that at least he came back home to us.
I decided to wait till he opens up about telling me on who was that woman he had seen intimate with at the café a day before. I hope it was nobody important in his life.
Before I left the apartment to send Teddy to school, I had even cleared the kitchen table and prepared him a simple breakfast. I smiled seeing him ate what I had cooked for him last night. I hoped he liked it.
