Major We all rushed to Jean’s room and found her sitting on the bed, back on the headboard with her knees on her chest, clutching tightly on the thick blanket. She looks so scared as she was staring to her left, like someone is standing there, threatening her. I ran to her and hugged her. “Baby, I’m here,” I whispered and repeated that over and over again until I can feel her melting into my arms. “He’s going to kill me,” Jean sobbed.
