Chapter 19: Revelations
Jade, Megan, and Crispin adjourned to Megan’s quarters the instant the court rituals were over. Outside, a very dignified and rigidly circumscribed chaos reigned as all the nice, neat little alliances unraveled before everyone’s eyes and people ran about madly trying to patch the holes and maintain the illusion of order amid the confusion.
