When Brian and Joanna arrived back at her room, he laid her on her bed. Then he climbed on top of her and began to kiss her neck, collar, and earlobe. He never grew tired of kissing her. Eventually, though, he did stop kissing her. He hovered above her and asked, "Do you have a close relationship with Austen?"
Brian couldn't bear the thought of Joanna being close to other men, even if they were just friends. That being said, he had a low opinion of jealous people, and he would never admit to being jealous himself.
Joanna shrugged and said, "I wouldn't say we're close, but we have known each other for a long time. And he is my man."
"What do you mean by that?" Brian roared. "I thought that I was your man!!!!"
Joanna froze. Her face flushed, and she looked away. Brian leaned down and hissed in her ear: "Jo, tell me that I am your man!"
Joanna frowned. She was frightened, but not scared enough to do what he said. Brian looked at her and bit her earlobe lightly. Then he said, "You may not say it now, but you will. Eventually, I will see that you do. You need to know that."
Joanna's heart began to beat faster. Her face was terribly hot, as was the earlobe he had just bitten. She thumped him on the chest and said, "That's nonsense!"
Brian held her wrist and said, "It is not nonsense. One day, I will make you mine. You'll see!"

At the airport – Susan was trying to get Sarah on the plane that would take her to the other side of the world. Unfortunately, reporters had somehow discovered what they were up to, and now they were surrounded. And the questions were coming in like torrential rain.
"Miss Sarah," one reporter shouted. "Can you comment on the videos published by Julie and Austin?"
Another asked, "Why are you in such a rush? Are you afraid of being arrested?"
A third asked, "Who do you think is responsible for the attack on your Stepsister?"
Sarah could not ignore the cacophony of voices. Nor could she hide her rising rage, and her breaking point came when one of the journalists touched her shoulder to get her attention. She spun around, kicked the man in the shins, and told him to f**k off.
Almost immediately, Sarah regretted what she'd done. They had wanted to catch her at her worst, and she'd given it to them. The footage of her blowing up at the reporter was just one more thing the media would use against her. "Just let me through," she cried. "I have a plane to catch!"
Suddenly, the crowd of reporters parted, and Sarah thought that they were finally letting her go. They were not, though. What they were doing was opening up so that the police could get in. There were two of them, a man and a woman, and they each had a name tag above their heart. The man's name was Officer Parks, and his partner's name was Officer Sigh. When they approached Susan and Sarah, Sigh pulled out a pair of handcuffs.
Officer Parks looked at Sarah, "read" her rights, and asked if she would go without a fight.
Sarah couldn't believe what was happening. "You don't want to do this!" she exclaimed. "Do you even know who I am?"
"I don't care who you are," Parks said indifferently. "All I care about is what you did and preventing you from doing it again." He grabbed her hands, and Sigh snapped the handcuffs over her wrists.
Sarah burst into tears. "I didn't do anything wrong," she cried. "All I did was teach them a lesson. What's wrong with that?" Because Sarah was a spoiled brat, she felt so entitled that she honestly didn't think that she'd done anything wrong.
The officers ignored Sarah's question and began to walk her towards the exit. Susan quickly grabbed the Sigh's arm and said, "Please, don't do this."
The officer angrily pulled her arm away. Then she got right into Susan's face and shouted, "Don't. f*****g. Touch. Me. Not unless you want to be handcuffed too!"
"Please!" Susan begged, and she reached out her hands.
Sigh cursed as she reached for her handcuffs. "I warned you," she said. Then she snapped the handcuffs on Susan's wrists and read her rights.
The reporters around them recorded everything, as did many of the civilians that were there. Thus, within minutes of the incident, it was online and going viral. Not surprisingly, the comment sections below these videos exploded. One person wrote: "It turns out that Sarah was just pretending to be gentle in the past!"
"It's too bad she didn't put her acting skills to better use," someone replied. "If she had, she would be a much better actress!"
Another person said, "Now we know, without a doubt, that Sarah framed her Stepsister. I, for one, never doubted that Joanna was innocent!"
"She is such a schemer," was written below that, and then: "Sarah, if you are reading this, just get lost! Nobody likes you anymore! You are through. Done. A has-been, hack, a thing of the past!"

Because Sarah was not used to being in jail, she didn't know how to behave. She was not cooperative with the officers, and she cursed them to their faces. Thus, they treated her in kind, showing her the same disrespect that she showed them.
Susan was more cooperative, though, and she used her one phone call to contact Mike, who promised to find them an ace lawyer.

At the Gross family villa – As the man watched the video of Susan and Sarah being arrested, he couldn't help but giggle. "What an interesting family!" he said.
***
At the Devine family villa – Almost immediately after Sarah and Susan had left, Robin fainted, and he wasn't found until Mrs. Moore arrived to work. She found him on the ground, called an ambulance, and the paramedics brought him to the hospital. When Robin woke up at the hospital, he discovered what had happened to Susan, and he fainted again.
Then, when he woke up again, he called Joanna. He wanted to scold her, but he knew that he couldn't. She was in the hospital too, but he didn't care that she was injured. He thought she deserved to be hurt. Nevertheless, he still needed her, so he had to play nice.
Joanna had been having a nice dinner with Brian when the call came through, and at first, she'd ignored it, but he called again and again until she finally picked up her phone. She looked at the caller ID and sighed. "What do you want?" she asked after accepting the call.
Robin groaned and said, "Please don't be so cold. I wronged you before. I admit it, but I am still your Daddy. Can't we just let bygones be bygones and start from scratch? I won't be around much longer..."
Joanna sneered. She didn't think his apology was genuine, and she wasn't going to allow him to manipulate her. "Mr. Devine," she said, "Why is our relationship status so confusing to you? I've already said that, to me, you are nothing but a sperm donor, so don't pretend that you care or ever did care. That's all I have to say to you, so please stop calling me."
Robin: "Joanna, I didn't--" It was too late to say anything more. Joanna had hung up the phone.
After speaking to her Father, Joanna no longer felt like eating. She told Brian that she was full, and then she went to look out the window. The sun was setting, and the sky was beautiful, but she felt a sense of impending doom in the air.
Brian looked up from his meal and frowned. He could tell that she was upset, but he didn't know how to help her. He put down his fork, walked up behind her, and hugged her without saying anything.
Joanna felt like crying, but she didn't want to be comforted. Her inner pain was real, and she wanted to feel it, at least for a little while.
Joanna forced Brian's hands off her, turned around, and tried to push him away. He would not move, though. "He looked her in the eyes and said, "Joanna, I am here for you." He put his arms around her again, and this time she didn't fight him. Instead, she slowly put her hands around his waist and buried her head in his chest.
