Present Time
Maksim told me that they were less than five minutes out, coming back with Morgan and Mallory. Jaden and I immediately headed over. I could hear the argument from the entrance to the cells. Their voices carried up to us before we even started heading down the stairs. I heard Morgan toss the threat of war out immediately. She really doesn’t mind involving Brian and his pack in the mess she created.
