Melina’s POV
Three Days Previous:
I woke up to bright lights shining above me. I closed my eyes as it was way too bright in here, and started to listen to the people in the room. They were loud, my head hurt, and I felt drained. I knew that I was in the pack hospital again. I could smell the familiar scent of the disinfectant and cleaning products used to clean up behind the patients.
I picked up that they had confirmed Morgan had been the mastermind behind my a*******n. It made sense. Fredrick and Robert were big and strong, but not anyone you would call on to solve a crossword puzzle. They were the muscle, and she used them. They probably didn’t even see the trap she was laying for them. They took all the risks, and she got what she wanted done, without getting involved.
