Jaden’s POV
I have been swamped for the last month. But when my brother asked for a personal favor a few weeks ago, I couldn’t tell him no. I lived two hours away from him, in the city. When Brian told me that the favor was for the man who saved him, I was happy to help. My brother was seriously injured. I knew that he would have been killed if not for someone stepping in to save him. I also didn’t mind trying to outmaneuver the High Council. I didn’t trust them at all.
