I could tell by the expression on Council Member Jones' face that he was shocked. It signaled that Alpha Jaxon would not just leave us alone with Council Member Jones. I could almost see how fast his mind worked to figure out a way around this. It almost made me laugh. He was too stunned to speak for over a minute.
I kept my face neutral and gave him a small smile. I would play with him until my brother sent me a link. We all knew who those men were and why they were here.
