My mate is a badass. Was it wrong of me to get so turned on seeing her beat those two jerks up? I enjoyed seeing her deal with them. The best part was seeing Jaxon and Chase slip out of the shadows and head over to deal with them. They already knew what was about to happen. They didn’t even try to argue when the warriors appeared to escort them to pack up and leave Black Adder.
Jaxon had requested two older teams, so Fredrick and Robert couldn’t try to talk their way out of the banishment. Melina headed straight home. We had a temporary dwelling between Maksim and Isabel’s house and her parents. We were still trying to figure out how to get her out of Bridger’s grasp. I have been researching independently since we returned to the pack from visiting my parents.
