Jeffrey stood beside Tara for a couple of minutes before she looked up at him. She then scooted over and patted the seat next to her. Jeffrey sat down and Tara placed her head on his shoulder.
“Do you remember your first shift?” Tara asked Jeffrey. I leaned my head on Xander’s chest as I looked at Jeda.
‘Do you think it’s going to work?’ I linked Xander.
‘I pray to the Moon Goddess it does’ he linked back. A few Omegas came by and brought us some lunch. I took a seat and went to take a bite of the chicken but whimpered in pain. I couldn’t bite into the food. I looked at Xander before pushing my food away.
“What’s wrong?” he asked.
