It’s been hours since Jeda went into the operating room. I’m glad Jeffrey is here because he has stopped Tara from bursting into the operating room a few times now. He has kept her calm. I know it’s the mate bond, and I’m glad she has him when she most needs him. Alexander and Brenda were here too. I feel arms wrap around me before hands grab mine. I looked back to see Xander give me a small smile.
“You’re going to scratch your skin off” he said lowly. I looked down to see my arm was red from scratching, but I was still so itchy.
“I’m itchy. My whole body itches” I whined. From the corner of my eye, I saw Brenda walking towards us with a cup. She grabs something before extending her hand to me. I place my hand on hers, and she rubs what’s in her hand on my arm. It’s ice.
