I woke up the next day, realizing I had slept on my children's couch. They were both sitting on their beds obediently when I showed up. I had cooked dinner and the three of us retired to their bedroom. I had promised myself to go back to sleep in my bedroom when they slept but I must have gotten carried away to even remember. "Oh goodness." I stretched, yawned and stared blankly around. They looked like mini versions of an angel in their sleeping positions.
