"Do you want to take a shower?" Val asked as we walked into my bedroom.
I didn't respond. I just threw myself on my bed, and stared at the wall. It's strange how I've barely slept over the last few days, but I'm not even tired now.
I feel so drained. So hollow. I've never felt like this before.
I'm not scared about what's going to happen. I don't feel guilty. I don't feel... anything.
"Nasha... why are you this angry?" Val asked. "I know that you didn't want to come back because you're scared, but... Ryland cares for you. He was out of his mind when he found out you were gone-"
"You can leave now. I promise I won't run again." I interrupted her.
