Pain radiates through my entire body as someone drags me on the ground. Haven's power courses through me like a flood, causing my body to tremble. It feels too much inside my skin. I wish I could release it somehow. I grit my teeth, enduring it.
“Oh Goddess…” whoever is dragging me mumbles anxiously coming to a stop.
“You did well Kenneth,” someone says so close to me. The sound of people moving around me fills my ear.
“I can’t believe I did that, Cain.” Kenneth says.
“Yeah, I know. I thought you were not going to help because we locked you up.”
“I know. But I didn’t even think. I just had to get him out of there,” Kenneth says still sounding fearful. “Will he be okay?”
“Give me a minute,” Cain says touching my arm. I don’t even know what he’s doing.
