The following days go by with Mina cooking up a storm like she said she would. And Haven was busy with the preparations of the moon run, which I didn’t understand, because we don’t need anything elaborate. The moon run is a way for our wolves to socialize and create a deeper bond with each other in the pack.
We don’t need all this food, and the other things Haven has going on outside. Maybe he’s getting everything ready to make a good impression on his old pack since he’s going to invite them to our first moon run.
Maybe it’s just that. My stomach tightens as I try to convince myself that nothing else is going on. But I am not succeeding.
