“Hello?” Marcus answered.
“Really? Right! I will be back to the company in fifteen minutes!” He exclaimed with excitement. As soon as he hung up, he looked around at everyone and exclaimed, “The Fosters are investing eight million pounds and they are actually waiting at the Lawrence Corporation right now. They are waiting for us to sign the contract with them!”
On hearing so, senior Mr. Lawrence who rarely showed his emotions heaved a sigh of relief. He looked at Mark and complimented, “Well done.”
Matt and Judy stared at Mark in surprise. They had never expected that their son-in-law would ever win senior Mr. Lawrence’s favor. Matt thought that his father had never said anything as encouraging and approving to him.
