Kate took some time and went through the company’s financial statement carefully, then, she called her secretary. “Inform the financial department to get the annual budget ready and all the supervisors are attending a meeting at ten o’clock sharp.”
About an hour later, everyone was present in the conference room. “I’m sure everyone’s well informed of the current situation of the Lawrence Corporation. Though the Kat Corporation is my own and main responsibility, as part of the Lawrence family, I’m obliged to help.” Kate started.
“I’m planning of taking some capital out of the Kat Corporation to invest in the Lawrence. Here are the financial statement and the annual budget. I would like everyone to take a look and see if there are any projects that we can postpone or cancel.”
