On the Porch

❀ Amy ❀ ❀Jessica: We knocked! Open the door! Your front yard looks amazing! That was one downside to being in the backyard. I hadn’t heard them knock or ring the bell. I left Eva outside as I went inside to answer the door. Karen, Jessica, Lucas, and Milly stood on the front porch, and I smiled as I stepped aside to let them in. “Come on in,” I said. They came inside and immediately started to look around. Of course, Milly and Lucas weren’t as interested in the house as Jessica and Karen were. “Come on, I’ll take you to the back where Eva is,” I said to them. I led the kids to the backyard, and Eva screamed happily when she spotted her friends. “You need to see my room!” she said as she grabbed their hands and just about dragged them back inside.
