Later that night, a little after midnight, a cemetery is crawling with bald, ghastly looking men who are destroying headstones, digging up graves, and eating the remains of the dead.
Some of the men have wandered to an exclusive side of the cemetery. No one except Windell Benson is allowed in that area of the cemetery. Windell's family has been the caretaker of the Bryants' graves for decades.
When the bald, ghastly men started digging up graves, they thought they heard someone weeping. All but two men stop digging and looking around for the person whose cry they fear.
A few mintues went by, and the men started back while the other two men were eating the remains of a young man. All the men stop what they're doing when they hear a piercing, otherworldly cry echo throughout the cemetery. The cry started low, haunting, keening, and it escalated into a high-pitched, chilling scream.
Now they're looking at a four-foot-tall woman with an ethereal appearance, long white flowing hair, wearing a long grey gown, pointing and floating towards them. All men look at one man, and they disappears.
The woman floats to the grave, looking at what is left of her son's remains. She gets on her knees, sobbing.

Kaimana sits up in bed after waking up out of a deep sleep. Shemar sits up, hugging and looking at her worried. "Nani, what is it. You were talking in your sleep."
"I saw a woman, she was so sad and in a lot of pain. I mean a lot of pain." Kaimana looks at him. "She was in a cemetery. I don't know if she can leave. I know she has a connection there. Okay, Kaimana Iwalani, think."
Shemar smiled when she said her name. "Nani, tell me everything you saw, and we'll figure it out."
She's quiet for a few mintues. "A short woman with long white hair, old grey gown. Keening, sadness." Kaimana smirks, "Banshee. The woman is a Banshee. her sorrow is becasue someone she loves is buried there."
"Banshee, I have only heard a little about them." Shemar walks over to the crib and picks up their son because he was steering around.
Kaimana's heating a bottle of milk. "Banshee comes from the Irish, bean sidhe. It means a woman of the fairy mountain. This ties her to the mystical fairy folk, who are believed to inhabit ancient burial mounds in Ireland. " She hands Shemar the bottle and kisses Emrys's forehead. "Do you think she's in Ireland?"
"I can't say, but I suppose she is. Ireland is a long way from here." Shemar is looking at their smile.
Kaimana sits on the bed 'True. Banshees are considered harbingers of death, often to warn families of an impending loss. They say her cries are known as keening. It is a form of mourning in Irish culture.
"As for the men who were there. I do not doubt their reason for being there." She's massaging Emrys's feet.
Shemar looks at her. "Men. What damn men? You never mention a word about some men being there."
Kaimana, his arm, "Oh, that's becasue I had forgotten about the, they're called Jikininkis. They appear as humans. I have no clue why they say human. Becasue any fool can see that they're anything but human. If I remember correctly. They live in cillafes that are usually abandoned temples or old ruins. The less contact they have with humans, the better, but they stay close to them because they're their source of good. The Jikininki are greedy, selfish, impious individuals who were cursed after death to seek out and eat humans and human corpses. Before you ask me how I know all of this. After my mother disappeared, Alika and I were trying to figure out who took her. So we did a lot of research and visited a lot of places that we haven't told Father about. "
"Well, Father will never hear it from. Nope, not me, my lips are sealed. Now we just have to find the crying woman." He's burping Emrys. He looks at Kaimana. "Nani, I don't like that look. No, you're not going without. But tell me anyway what your plan is."
"Wild goose chade. I don't have time for that. Plus, I don't want to be away from our son for long. I could cast a spell to find her. Even if she seems lost to me. She may not be lost to herself. So casting a find a lost Banshee spell is out the window. " She looks at Shemar and shakes her head.
He said, since she could hear all vampires and werewolves' thoughts, why couldn't she hear the Banshee's thoughts when she came to her? Shemar sees the way Nani is looking at him. "What I am saying is for her to come to you, that you two must have a connection."
"A connection," Kaimana mumbles.

Wystan is looking out the window of his and Celsetine's bedroom. He can't stop thinking about Shemar being immortal. "How could he be immortal when I'm not. Dutton definitely isn't immortal. Is Malia immortal?"
Celestine walks behind him, wraps her arms around him. "You're still thinking about Shemar. I know you didn't mean to tell me that he's immortal. But I heard it through our link. Sweetheart, I met a few immortals, so I know a little. Immortals aren't necessarily born to immortals. They are chosen to become immortals after their deaths. My father used to tell my sister and me stories about the. He said that they were blessed with immortality to do good. But some take the wrong path. "
He turns to look at her. "Dear you seem to know more than a little about immortals?
She looks out the window. "Our father was immortal. He was killed when my sister was fourteen, and I was twelve. He was killed by the one person he trusted. Randy, his best friend. I don't mean to worry you. But more immortals will show up to challenge Shemar. Because they all want to be the one."
Wystan looks at her, confused. "The one what?
Celestine lay her head against the chest. "The last immortal. There can only be one."
"Damn, that's what I thougth you were going to say." Wystan tightens his hold on her.

Shiloh and Namakaesha are sitting on their balcony discussing their grandson's powers. And how early he has been bestored with. Namakaesha is curious as to how powerful he is. But foes don't want to test him. He prefers to watch him and let Emrys show himself. But deep down, he still wants to test the little fella.
"Dear, it's not our place to test or to do anything. That's for Shemar and our daughter to do. Emerys is going to be a handful. One thing I know is they're not going to bond his power. Kai said she and Shemar will teach and train him to restrain himself." Shilio's looking at the full moon.
"Handful is an understatement. But you're right. You and I will make sure to protect him." He chuckled, "Shemar is funny as hell when it comes to his son. That is one proud Father. Shemar is going to be a great father, just like he's a wonderful husband to our daughter."
I invaded Wystan and Dutton's minds. Boon and I were being cautious with them. We knew that Shemar was telling them he's immortal. We wanted to know what their true thoughts were. I hate to say this, but Shemar has achieved a hell of a lot more than Dutton. Even more than Wystan. She is a billionaire, he mated and married the Alpha of the largest pack here and now immortal. Wystan was proud and confused as hell. Dutton was proud but still had a hint of jealousy." He's looking at some men who are taking the chairs that they used for the party.
"Malia and I have decided to a point that one or both ot us will be with Emerys when he's not here. Or when his parents aren't with him. We don't want everyone to know of his powers yet. I picked that up regarding Dutton. But he's trying to be a good brother, but it seems like every day, Shemar has something new happen to him. As you know, a person can only try or accept so much."
