After the long day at work I finally wrapped up everything as I stood up with a stretch. I took my jacket and car key before walking out of my office to the elevator.
I pressed the elevator button for the ground floor as I waited patiently to reach.
Just as I reached the ground floor and stepped out I was met with my manager Anita.
“ You're still here?” I asked in surprise, it was quite late.
" I just needed to finish up some work.” She said and I scrunched my brows thinking of what project could possibly keep her till this time. The time was 10:46 pm.
I was supposed to go home earlier to take Katherine to see her sister but she called me saying that she'd like to go tomorrow so I could help her cook something for her sister, I didn't argue, I just accepted.
