I knew she was going to try playing smart, maybe run away, so I had to make sure someone was watching her.
I also had to check up on Katherine. I dialed her number and she picked like she had been waiting for my call.
“ Hi baby, how did it go?" She asked.
" Funny how it didn't take her long to accept her crime, I'm just wondering how she didn't think this through before thinking of threatening me.” I said as I walked back to my chair to sit down.
" Soon she'll be where she belongs,"
“ Yes," I said.
“ How are you coping without an assistant? I wish I could help you from home but my hand still has this bandage and it's annoying,” She said and I couldn't help but chuckle.
