I sat by the window for ost of the night just looking out at the stars. I don't even remember when the last time was that I star gazed or even saw the stars and the night sky... another nurse, one I have also grown to love, stopped by Grace... she was a bit older than Kelly, and she always stayed with me a bit longer...
Grace was one of the night nurses... at first I didn't want her around, just like Kelly. She stuck by my side, played me a song or two on her iPod and prayed for me... she would sneak me a cookie or some extra jelly then leave me be for the night...
"I like your room."
She said as she was on her way out, she brought me a little snack before bedtime.
"I like it too."
