“Babe?” Dane’s voice reverberated around the apartment. “Where are you?”
“I’m inside our room!” I shouted in reply, but quickly stood up from our bed, not wanting to waste more time, and ran outside to meet my fiancé.
I had been sitting in our bed and writing notes about what I have been experiencing–breaking friendship with Brianna, and looking for missing Jan and Susan. All these were happening while I was pregnant with my first baby with Dane.
“Woah, babe!” Dane was surprised when I jumped on him. “Take it easy for little peanut.”
