We were back in the office on Monday. Boy, the weekend went by so fast. It was like it left me refreshed and, at the same time, tired. Could both happen?
The out-of-town escape refreshed my mind. At least, Dane and I experienced progress in our relationship. We were on the same page in most of what we wanted to do. We talked about me going back to Virginia for a while and we were to have a civil wedding soon. As long as our situation becomes lighter, we would register. Marriage was not as important to us, but our baby was.
Please don’t get me wrong. I couldn’t wait to get married to Dane and be Mrs. Lexi Romano. However, we have more important issues to take care of.
