It had already been a week since the private investigation had started. In addition to that, Dane had hired a private autopsy company to examine the supposed body of Susan. It would take a while before we get the autopsy report, which could take up to sixty days depending on the case. Dane had not seen the body yet and did not have any inclination to do so. He said he had seen enough of the photos provided to him by the police officers.
The body could be released any day soon. In this regard, Dane had already coordinated with Atty. Benson the plans for cremation, should the body be Susan’s.
