A few days had gone by. Dane was still busy with company matters to hold interviews, and I was holding on my own as his secretary. I would think he was having the time of his life.
It had been that long that he had not mentioned again seeing his mom, so I reminded him.
“Dane? Baby, you have not yet heard from your mom?” I asked when we were almost done for the day at the office.
