MY POSSESSIVE MATE

CHAPTER 4: CAPTURED

Jax’s POV

Kai and Ty held me against the floor while my mate’s scent went further and further away.

I was back in control and had shifted back instantly only to become a crying mess in my brother’s arms while my best friend tried to calm me down.

“I-I l-lost c-control”, I cried and hugged my brother’s chest tight. “S-She hates m-me now”, I sobbed.

“She doesn’t, Jax. She is just upset. I really wish the next five days quickly come before anything goes wrong”, Ty worriedly said.

“S-She i-is n-not in the p-pack h-house, Kai”, I stammered. “I-I can’t feel her”, I sobbed.

“Fuck !”, Ty cursed and got up. “I will go and find her before she does something stupid”, he said.

“No don’t. Let me go. I will be able to trace her before you do”, I said firmly and with conviction.

“Are you sure, Jax ?”, Kai asked worriedly.

“Yeah ! I am sure she is going towards the Northern Frontier to finish off the rogues and cool herself down”, I said.

“Oh fuck no !”, Ty screamed in horror.

“What’s the matter, love ?”, Kai asked worriedly.

“I was about to tell you and her that the cave behind the waterfall is the meeting place for a dangerous deal tonight and there will be double security, hidden guards and traps all over”, he answered so fast that I could only grasp the keywords.

However, they were enough to make me understand that the danger was hundred fold than what we had thought before.

“Stupid girl”, Kai murmured and quickly passed orders through the pack link.

“Hurry up Jax. Hop on me”, Ty said. “I will fly you to the place quickly. We might be able to prevent any harm from coming to her before Kai’s reinforcements reach”, he hurriedly said. “And keep trying to reach out to her through her mindlink, Kai. Seems like she went on full mission mode and turned it off”, he added.

Without wasting any other second, I quickly hopped on his back and clung on him tight while he screeched.

Mid air suddenly I felt a sharp pang of pain in my back and howled in traumatizing agony.

“Fuck ! They are harming her”, I growled and Ty screeched as he hastened his pace.

“Ty, my abdomen hurts so bad”, I hissed again in pain. “They are torturing her”, I added woefully as I felt another stinging wound open on my cheek.

“You will feel everything about your mate, Jax. Just hold on. She has been blessed to have a true mate and I guess the connection between you and her is stronger than mated couples even before marking each other !”, Ty mindlinked.    

“I will fucking kill those bastards so bad”, I breathed out as I felt another lash of torture on my back.

“Hold on tight, Jax. I am going in”, Ty called out as we neared the aggressive waterfall.

He dove right inside the fiery currents and threw me inside the cave like a marble in a catapult.

Flying over the mine traps, I landed straight inside the main hall where I saw my beautiful mate blindfolded and tied with fucking silver chains !

No one had strangely felt my presence and fortunately for me, I had landed behind a huge boulder which hid me well.

Now, these thugs had no chance of survival against me.

I smirked as I watched a familiar man hurl up his silver chain to lash at my mate.

I wanted to kill that bastard so bad since the day I saw him force himself on my beautiful mate.

He is so damn dead and unaware of his impending disaster.

Serves the motherfucker right !
