62 I'm Sorry

1584 Words

Stephanie POV This can't be happening. "Please let me and my mother go," I plead with the guard as they drag us toward the cells. Not one coven member makes a move to help us despite my cries. I look to my left and notice for the first time since we left the office that my mother is lying perfectly still over the guard's shoulder. She isn't even attempting to get away from him anymore. She is completely silent. I focus my energy back on the guard that is carrying me. Despite my begging, the guard doesn't respond to me. He completely ignores everything I just said. How did everything go so wrong? It seemed like our plan was going to work. I could see the desire in Timothy's eyes as he walked toward me in the office. If that b**ch hadn't interfered his mark would be on my neck right now.
