I bring the kids to visit my parents today after school. They asked to go play with the neighborhood kids. I know Makayla wants to play with Lucas. Those two are inseparable. I hear squealing coming from outside. Mom and I are baking and we were both surprised that Makayla ditched our baking session to go play. This girl lives and breathes baking. She loves it so much. I go check on them and look out the window and I am surprised. I don't see Lucas anywhere. Instead Makayla is playing with Ania and Tucker's daughter Melody. I think she is the same age as Makayla. Also three kids I have never seen before. Two look about the same age and one is a little younger. I step outside and wave. "Mommy, hi mommy" Makayla yells and runs over to me.
