My eyes blur when I finally gain back control of myself. I search my surroundings for a clue of what just happened. I’m laid out on the floor with a broken picture by my side. There is a dent in the wall above me that’s the size of my body. Rider is picking himself up off the ground from right inside my bedroom door. Lucian is clapping his hands and smiling at Freya. Freya is staring at me, holding her stomach. Her chest is heaving, and her face is painted in horror.
