Today is the day that I introduce my mate to my pack. I left Freya to sleep in our room since I drained her this morning. I could have kept going, kept pushing her over the edge. Being with her is so natural, so pleasing. I want to be with her every second of the day. I need to be inside her every moment we are alone. Having a mate is so consuming. I understand why many Alphas choose a mate rather than mating their fated mate. When I am around her it’s like I have tunnel vision and only see her. I told her I loved her, twice, for goodness sakes. I’m so happy to have her, but it terrifies me to know what she will do to me. The beast within constantly wines when she is not near.
