CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE
FREYA’S POV
Tonight, felt perfect. There weren’t any stars in the sky or a full moon to elicit light over the water. No words were being spoken either but there was silence; profound silence whose only sound was the ripples in the water. But instead of feeling lonely; Julio’s presence was enough company. He didn’t have to try anything. And so, I closed my eyes, letting myself relax; memories of the past washing over me.

Nikolai Petrov was easily the hottest guy in the entire room. It almost made me feel underdressed. Yet he had not let go of my hand since we walked into the party.
