MEL GOT TO THE COURTHOUSE next door a little too late to talk with Andrea before the arraignment. She, Walters and his attorney were already before the dais when she entered the courtroom. As she walked in she noticed Sally and Gloria seated in the back row. I didn’t expect them to be here. She chuckled to herself as she proceeded toward the front. I’m surprised Sally didn’t try and convince the county to let her bring that damn dog in here with her.
“Mr. Walters, your charged with manslaughter, kidnapping, and false imprisonment. How do you plead?” the judge asked as Mel slid into a seat.
“Guilty your honor.”
From the back of the courtroom, Sally gasped. Everyone turned to look that way. Both Andrea and Dale Walters took note that it was Mel who had entered during the proceedings.
