Jack and Jane gasped in shock as they looked from me to Steve until they all stared cautiously at Talia who seemed to have glued herself to her spot as she looked at Steve, almost unblinking. “Talia?” I called cautiously and I could see Jack also putting Jane slightly behind him and took in a ready stance.
